CAREER EXPLORATION APPLICATION
PROGRAM OVERVIEW:
A 4-week Career Exploration program targeting youths 14-15-years-old in the Virgin Islands, focusing on the development of research skills, employability and soft skills, and producing knowledge-based individuals for post-secondary occupational/academic training or the job market.

PROGRAM DURATION:
Each youth will participate in a series of workshops for four (4) weeks.

LOCATION:
In-person (TBD)

PARTICIPANTS:
In-School (14-15) – Summer Youth Employment Program Applicants

PROGRAM OUTCOME:
• Learn the soft skills necessary for job success (Professionalism)
• Exposure to one or more occupational areas
• Entrepreneurship
• Leadership Development
• Labor Market & Employment Information
• Career Interest Portfolio
• Post-secondary education & training activities

APPLICANTS MUST SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS:
1. Proof of Citizenship or Legal Residency Status (Passport, Birth Certificate OR Permanent Resident Card)
2. Proof of School Enrollment
3. Valid Picture ID
